The article presents an analysis of the energy sector Gulf Cooperation Council (hereinafter referred to as GCC) and examines some aspects its development. paper analyzes role in economic systems Arab countries Persian Gulf, identifies features strategies regional players modern macroeconomic geopolitical conditions. Some factors influencing GCC are considered. Among them, financial dependence on oil gas revenues towards country budgets peculiarity demographic factor policy noted. renewable sources within framework strategic development programs states; systematizes various limiting Gulf. concludes with prospects for further region, taking into account challenges trends.
